Safety.

The new BAYON shares its safe and robust DNA with the other members of the Hyundai SUV family – and it has the safety features to match. An extensive list of Hyundai Smart Sense safety features and driving assistance features set new BAYON apart from its competitors.

Driving assistance features.

Lane Following Assist works to keep the vehicle centred in its lane. Forward Collision-Avoidance Assist sounds an alarm and, if necessary, applies the brakes to prevent a collision.

Blind Spot Collision-avoidance Assist (BCA).

Using radar sensors in the rear bumper, the system warns you of traffic in your blind spot. If you use the turn indicator in such a situation, it will sound an alert and brake to prevent collision.

The BAYON delivers excellent fuel efficiency and highly competitive CO₂ emissions thanks to its turbo-charged engines with direct injection for optimum efficiency and driving fun.

Energy Regeneration System (ERS).

Reducing fuel consumption and exhaust emissions, the braking effect of the engine generates kinetic energy that is converted into electricity and stored in the battery.

Smooth shifting transmissions.

Choose from a 5- or 6-speed manual – or a 7-speed dual clutch transmission, which allows for lightning fast gear changes, whether you use the convenient automatic mode or choose to shift manually.
